Could Gwynn suck as bad as Cameron

This is not so much that Gwynn is a quality play but more to the fact that Cameron plain old sucks.  When we signed Cameron I kept asking how much of an improvement would he be over Gwynn.  I am positive Gwynn would not be any worse than Cameron is and we would be saving a lot of salary money that could go to one of our young future stars.  What did we sign him for?  did we need another guy in the lineup that can produce strikeouts at a high rate.  Yes he is a former gold glover, but I wonder, is he right now that much of a better outfielder than Gwynn is.  I'm hoping the the sake of the team that Cameron proves me wrong and actually has a value to the team that Gwynn or even Kaplar could not have provided.  He has the highest strikeout rate on the team, his 20 strikeouts right now would amount to over 200 in a full season at this rate.  I think he has 21 strikeuts in 66 plate appearances.  660 plate appearances in a normal season and thats 210 strikeouts. 

I just don;t like seeing him in the lineup when I think about the money wasted on him that could go to another guy for the future of the team.  Lets see the 3 guys on our team with past problems with substance abuse.  Cameron, Gagne, and Turnbow.  Now doesn't that make you think a little.

WTF, cameron is supposed to be one of th best fielders in baseball and misjudges a flyball, it was well hit but obviously a play a guy like Cameron should make, heck he looked like braun chasing that fly ball down.  He's also supposed to be one of the best baserunners in baseball, yet last night he gets doubled up at second base on a flyball to rightfield.

The 2 things he is supposed to be stellar at he is sucking at.  At least he is striking out at the rate we expected him too when we signed him.

What does he have offensively this year, 2 or 3 good games and the rest is just crap.

Kaplar or Gwynn, either one should be able to perform at Camerons level of play.  Oh yeah and at a lot cheaper rate on the pocket book.  Cameron is a waste of money.
