One other thought - and this surprised me.  Did Hart looked over matched against Matsuzaka?  It seemed like he was blowing the ball by him or making him look weak on off speed stuff.

OK Kolodziej, I usually am in agreement with you, but this I cannot agree with.  Tim McCarver is an idiot.

You're entitled to your opinion.  If he is an idiot, though, he's an idiot who's been employed by a major league baseball team for each of the last 49 years.  He may over-analyze from time to time, but often times I think it's just due to his disagreement with the play/call.  In my opinion, calling Tim McCarver an idiot when it comes to baseball knowledge is a lot like calling Bob Uecker, Joe Nuxhall, or Jack Buck an idiot when it comes to baseball knowledge.

As to what you're saying he confirms you are saying

Corey Hart needs to hit like a rightfielder who is the 5th batter in a lineup, not a centerfielder who's leading off.
