Good job Met fans. You won. Congrats. Now lets hear most of you boast about being kings of New York. Honestly, i still get a kick out of it.

Considering how bad the Yankees offense has been so far this year, I would be a little concerned about Johan.
That was the most runs the Yankees have scored in 6 games, and the most home runs they've hit in 1 game this entire season.
Yankees hitters have also shown a very bad tendency to go 1-2-3 in about 10 pitches or less, which happened a couple of times today, additionally making Santana look better.
Petitte does look off with his location the last 4 or 5 starts, he did look a little better today though.

The Yankees continue to stuggle giving up two home runs in soft right field. It seems Andy Pettite is having delivery problems as he is not mixing his pitches well. The bullpen is an issue for the Yankees. The Yankees have to play organized ball, They have to advance runners when on base. The Yankees do not have it vs the Mets. The Mets are a powerful team. A team that wines in the locker room more than the Yankees. Johan Santana can change speeds and be effective.
In game one, The Yankees show they have to make changes on offense until Posada or Rodriguez come back. The Mets are under pressure. Willie Randolph knows he has to get this team to gel. Billy Wagner is something he can pitch well for a whole week and then have a bad game. That bad game costs Wagner. Wagner is feeling the pressure. David Wright has a great swing. He can hit the ball to the opposite field with power. Wright has confidence issues and can not find away to deliver in the clutch. Jose Reyes is not Derek Jeter. Reyes is the better runner and better opposite field hitter than Jeter. Jeter is the clutch performer and Reyes is going to get things done as a baserunner. Today, both guys came to the park ready to deliver. It actually was an exciting game.

with a 200+ million dollar payroll, you should win the world series every year. so that track record you posted is something you should be ashamed of. at least we accept the fact that were cursed. you insist that the wind wasnt blowing in ur direction today and that theres always an excuse. yankee fan moto...we have 26 world series and you have 2. Mets fans response...you do realize 7 were after 1962? yeah still you have more, but you won 19 of them with 6 teams in the league. 35 of those years steinbrenner went off the charts on the payroll tripling the next highest salary. so something to be thought about...make sure your facts are researched a bit before you boast.

umm asif i dont know what Mets team you watch but David Wright has been cold as ice and he still has 8 hrs and 33 rbi. if thats not clutch idk what is. most of those are when the game is on the line. sure he goes 1-4 but the one hit usually is when the game is on the line. yeah he gets out sometimes when the ball needs to be put in play, but hes not in a groove so that happens when your cold. reyes is better than jeter. his defense is lightyears ahead of anything jeter ever can do, even in his prime, reyes in way better. hes quicker and he is very instinctive. hes still only 23 so he has time to get better. if he had a few years of success so far, when he reaches his prime, he will be incredible. i believe both wright and reyes will be new yorks kings by the end of next year, while jeter is their court jester.
btw...pettitte sucks
