After Watching the last two series boston played I no longer think they have what it takes to win the Championship. If they get by the Cavs then they have a 7 gamer with Detriot. I guarantee that Boston will not get by Detriot playing the way they have.

They've totally relied on home court advantage to win so far, but I don't think they'd be able to hold it in a 7 game series against the Pistons.  With how bad they've looked on the road against the Cavs (I didn't really watch the Hawks series), the Pistons should be able to win their games at home, and steal one or two on the road, since they are a far more well-rounded team than the Cavs, who have almost taken one and have another shot tomorrow night.

As a Cavs fan, it kills me to say this, but I think the most likely scenario is the Pistons winning the East, with the Celtics closing out with an energetic game 7 and then losing to the Pistons in 6 or 7.  Either way, it'll be an entertaining ECF, as there will be some really good games if the Celts win (at least in Boston, not so sure about in Auburn Hills), and if the Cavs win it would be the 3rd straight time they have met in the playoffs, with no love lost between the teams (as cliche as it is to say that)

I think the momentum has definitely swung in the favor of the cavs, not so much as the outstanding offense, but the way they held the Celtics to 69 points...and mad props to the D for keeping Rondo out of the lane dishing the rock off to K.G., Paul pierce and Allen....can Boston win the east, I don't know if they don't improve on the road they are in trouble...and they have to bring their A game at home, cause the Cavs have found some cracks in their armor, and they will exploit those weaknesses come game time. Whew!
Go Pistons!!!!!!!     Gone

Has anyone noticed how the home team has won all but 2 games in this round of the playoffs?  Only the Lakers in Game 6 and the Pistons in Game 4 of their series managed a win on the road.

This continues to reinforce my opinion that the refereeing in the NBA is still heavily slanted towards the home team.  Teams that are getting annihilated on the road are winning easily at home.  The team with the home court advantage can buy a single win on the road????

Come on, Uncle David, let's get the officiating to be court neutral once again (if ever).

ok the celts can win it all cuz they have a greatly rounded team.... dnt worry about the road woes because a team who did the best in the nba on the road during the regualar season can pull it together after 2 series of screwing around.... if u dont believe me nd im sure u dont, just wait til for this series to start

Why does everyone keep harping on the fact that the Celtics have yet to win on the road?  There hasn't been a lot of winning on  the road by anyone this year!    Fact is, they haven't lost at home either.    Fact is, they have homecourt throughout.    They don't 'NEED' to win on the road... true, it would be nice if they could close out a series in less than 7 games, but the could technically become the first title winner to go 16-12, without winning a single game on the road.    No way Ray Allen's struggles continue, and once they're over, with Pierce and Garnett, just too much firepower to be stopped.    Add in some scrappy D from Posey and House, and a couple of good games by Rondo... Celtics in 6!    That's right, I'm feeling a road win in game 6.
