I think it was about time that McGowen stepped down as a managing partner. Yes he saved the Giants from leaving for Tampa, brought in the greatest player in the modern era, and built that awsome stadium. But he has made some poor decisions in getting talent over the past few years. I think we all regret the Joe Nathan trade, seeing how dominating of a closer he is. I like Brian Wilson, but Nathan is better. And letting this team get sooooo old in a matter of a couple years is not reasonable. After the WS I thought we could make it back. But he didn't sign any desent players and let go of others. Letting this team get old. Hopefully we can get some new blood with the upstarts we got now and can try to keep it at around .500. And try to contend next year.
