Anyone who thought the Pens would get or are getting most of the calls in this series is flat wrong. In fact, the officiating is slanted a bit to the Flyers which is fine. This way there will be no excuses when the Pens win big Sunday and move on to face Detroit. The divind and embellishing that Flyer fans have been looking for is coming from their own team. Ironic right?

Both teams are embellishing equally, there, skippy.
The refs have been terrible this series......both ways. I don't see it slanted in anyone's direction.
By the way, don't accuse the Flyers of diving when Ruutu got called for diving twice in one game.

One of those "dives" was Ruutu turning away to avoid a punch from one of those goons. It was a bad call. But yeah, both teams dive, it's all part of trying to draw penalties. Anyone who denies having at least one diver on their team is in denial.

really? I would have thought that someone (yes even hatcher) who plays hockey at the high school level let alone in the nhl would be able to turn on their skates without falling dramatically to the ice.

Damn Pen's fans. I think we can be a little more classy about our win here. We did a fantastic job and had an awesome day, and the Pen's were just the better team this year around. I'm not celebratint til the Pen's are holding the Stanely Cup. And that will NOT be an easy task at all.
