Just perusing the schedules and week #2 of the season gets better, but not by much.   I think OSU and Houston as two bowl teams will probably be televised; the competition only has a handful of games with the two teams as bowl teams;

South Florida vs. Central Florida - should be a better game than last year's blowout.

Miami and Florida: okay, so the canes went no where but this is a big name game and maybe another year of witnessing a car-wreck.

Cincinnati at OU: sure-Cincy can play Ohio State tuff, but  playing in Norman is different, this will probably be close 1st half than OU will open them up like a can of peas...

Georgia Tech vs. Boston College: probably the 2nd biggest names but doesn't resonate past the Mississippi River.

Oregon State at Penn State: brought to you by the conference who has gets no respect after you utter the letters "USC" playing against AARP favorite and most over-rated conference member.

Maybe two solid wins will get us a ranking and being on TV will help.    The following week we fall off the map with Mizzou St. while USC/Ohio State, Texas/Arkansas, Michigan/Notre Dame, UCLA/BYU, et al. begin the real season and 3 teams will be eliminated from NC consideration.   I'm hoping we get to game 6 before reality hits...
