Hey Laker fans-  Congrats on the series.  As much as I hated watching the Jazz lose, I have to say that you earned it.  There will be a lot of Jazz fans out there griping about the refs and such, but that was just tough basketball and you came out on top.

Good luck against the Hornets/Spurs.

Thanks grass muncher, that was very classy of you.  Originally, after the Lakers won the first 2, I thought they would win in 5.  However, the Jazz played very tough throughout, and it was a very good series.  I definitely underestimated them, but that is a mistake I will not make again next season, you guys are for real, with very good depth.  Good luck next  year!

thanks Grass
I saw the Jerry Sloan interview after the game and I gotta say, class act and while there has been a lot said of the fans and the team, it was a great series and a great organization to play in the 2nd round

Of all the series, AK47 finally came out of it against the Lakers and honestly I didn't know why he didn't take the 3 instead of Okur at the end?  Oh well, the team will be solid for years with Willams & Boozer so while the Lakers won this round this year, I'm looking forward to renewing it next year with this generation of Jazz/Laker rivalry

Nice post, GM - very classy of you!  Big props to your Jazz squad (not so much Jazz fans, especially at ESA, but that's another story) that's a hell of a nucleus you have in place there, especially with D-Will, Milsap, and the two Ronnies.  I think the Jazz are one superstar Boozer replacement away from making some serious waves in this league.

You're a class act Grass Muncher.  Just like Jerry Sloan and even the Jazz players by staying on the floor to congratulate the Lakers for advancing.  At least in my eyes it redeems the immature Jazz fans who were throwing trash at the Lakers bench in the final minutes.  Good luck next year; you guys have only sky as the limit with Deron on your team.

Thanks GM, the Jazz are a hell of a good team. I am sure they are one superstar away from a championship team. But I am not sure trading Boozer might get that as one reply noted above. Had the Jazz play against the Spurs, they would have advanced to the next series. Jazz play physical, young, big and talented. But they need more play-off veterans and experiences to get them to the Final. They can only get better in a few more years.

Go Lakers

But I am not sure trading Boozer might get that as one reply noted above.Hey, don't get me wrong, USS - I have the highest regard for Carlos Boozer as a player - I just don't think he's a good fit for this otherwise very physical and very tough Jazz team.  Boozer is another case of a guy with a lot of excess baggage for any franchise to deal with (see Shaq).  They way he shafted the Cavs to get to Utah in the first place was suspect to begin with.  I just don't think that D-Will trusts him all that much anymore - and, let's face it, this Jazz franchise is being built around Deron Williams...whatever you need to do to surround him with players that he can trust and rely on is what needs to happen to get this Jazz team to the next level.

Good man! One of the few. That must of been hard to suck up, but you did! the Jazz put up a good fight. Right now it's just Lakers time. Good luck next year!    GO LAKERS
