incredible what this team has accomplished with how their payroll and history is. Look at the Yankees, granted they aren't the powerhouse they were in the early part of the decade look at them now, in the cellar of the division while the Rays are on top, and how about them Red Sox, the mighty World Champs can't hold off the Rays either. I really don't like the Rays much at all but good for them.

I hope they beat out NY and Boston for the Al East.  I am so sick of hearing how good both of those teams are, and how they have the best pitching and hitting.

I really want Tampa to win, I evem bought myself a BJ Upton jersey!

as an Orioles fan, i wouldnt mind seeing another team besides new york or boston win the division. and if baltimore cant get it done then i wouldnt mind seeing tampa bay win the division. maybe the talk of moving out of the warehouse has excited them...

No one in baseball can stop the Rays right now.  This series will prove that.

It appears the "Tampa Bay way" is:

Get expansion team

Finish near the bottom for 10-30 years

Change ownership

Get new stadium and uniforms

Good Draft Picks and Free Agency

Win a championship.

We are loving the Rays here in Tampa, sad to only see 15,000 last week for the Yanks but if they continue to play hard, people will come.  The stadium being in St Pete hurts the attendance, esp with gas prices the way they are. That and the fans aren't completely sold and with good reason, they've only played 42 games. Long way to go, but I think we finish .500 or better and top 2-3 in the AL East. As well as the pitching and defense has been, their batting will only improve.

Great nucleus, guys who wanna be out there, giving their all. (Did you see Riggans interview postgame Thursday?)

Haters can say what they'd like, but 42 games in no one saw the Rays with the best record in the AL and its been great to see this group day in and out.

Go Rays, keep on rolling.

The new ownership was really the 1st step in the right direction.
