Your team's problem is that you have no defensive presence up front.  Boozer and Okur are both sub-par defenders.  I think the Lakers have exploited that weakness this series, and I don't see how you guys could win a Championship until that is fixed.

Also Jazz fans, pureair23 isn't your friend.  He is a no-good bandwagoner.  I find it interesting that he is a Cowboys and Lakers fan living in Utah (LOL).  Ever since I registered for CBS Sportsline over a year ago (originally as HurricaneDij25), I have always had issues with Laker fans.  They truly believe that they are God's gift to the world.

Man, I totally agree with you. Memo and Booz are beasts on offense and rebounding, but especially boozer's defense is horrible. I think Millsap can grow into that inside presence, he had about 1.5 blocks/game in the playoffs. But that definately needs to be fixed.

Well Jazz, maybe next year will FINALLY be the year. Good season overall, I guess. I wonder if a championship will ever come to Utah and Jerry Sloan.

By the way, you're alright for a laker fan. :)

Let's please give credit where credit is due...The Lakers are God's gift to the world, we're just fans of the team.

Nice avatar, Hurricane - if you keep it up with your "issues", you may well find yourself wearing it in perpetuity!!!

First of all HurricaneTakeADick, don't come on here talking trash with a Lakers logo as your avatar, I don't have to prove shit to you you crying little ass. What, you get ran off the Lakers boards for being a dumbass. I've watched all year long you getting ran by more superior fans from every fan board out there. Your a clinger, you put your opposing tag on and hope to get ratings just to boost your user name. What a gay ass wannabee. He is the most hated person on the Lakers boards that he has been tagged as ignored. This is your first post over here loser, get in line, we would rather hear from the true fans like MLB, CoachDuncan,  and the rest of the Jazz fans. Ignorance is bliss, and hating is a gift that you own due to your mom not being able to tell you who your dad is.
Hell of a comeback Utah, just a little short. I look forward to next year (after were done with this year) to continue our arguments. Great series, all good any which way could have happened games.
I live here, so I'll get ready for your fury for next year. OUT

Hurricane is actually wearing the Lakers avatar because he lost a bet with Laker superfan VicDaRuler  - which was hilarious onto itself!

Thanks pureair . . . . it has been a blast bantering back and forth with you and jefe . . .. just wish we could have won the series! Oh well, maybe next year!

Talking today at the state track meet with a buddy of mine . . . . . what if we traded Boozer, CJ, and Collins to the Mavs for Dirk?? Great shooter, defensive presence, and big and can rebound . . . . .thoughts?? Cuban might just be crazy enough to pull the trigger on that if he is serious about rebuilding down there . . . . just a crazy thought now uttered out loud . . . . .

I agree, we need some more help on D. We got better this year, but until Millsap is ready to step up, I think we really need some more help!

The main problem that the Jazz have is bad karma.  They've been cursed ever since they signed Carlos Loozer.  He's a piece of garbage, waaaaaay overpaid, and he can't even play defense.

Boozer for Dirk?

I don't know, but I'm pretty sure that Dirk is way too soft for Sloan. If you want to go that way, you need a less physical and more high flying coach. With D Williams the Jazz's window is wide open.

Dirk Nowitzki?  Hell no, no way.  Boozer had a sub-par playoff performance, but Dirk had an even worse one.  Dirk adds nothing to the Jazz.

Also, to pureair, c'mon dude, we can all smell it.  You HAVE to be suspicious of a guy who claims to be a Laker and Dallas Cowboy fan that doesn't live in California or Texas.  I mean, please.  LA has 14 NBA titles and the Cowboys are tied for the most Lombardi trophies.  I'm surprised you don't list the Yankees as your MLB team.
