Can you put in multiple waivers to drop the same guy who I really wanted to get rid of (in case you don't get the first guy you are after) for example:
waiver claim 2 = Pick up Garrett Anderson, drop Brian Wilson
now if I were to get Ken Griffey would it just make the second waiver claim null and void, if I got Griffey it wouldn't then drop him for Anderson would it?
it should only do the drop brain wilson then add griffey, no way should it drop griffey for anderson....i do have a question though why are you dropping Brian Wilson??? i am trying to trade for him and am just curious if it's because he is hurt or you just do not need him........
Oh no need to worry hardenbrook he's not hurt, I just have Brad Lidge, Billy Wagner and B.J. Ryan. There are some players on the wire that I think can help my team more than a fourth closer.
Just curious finfan is that an 8 team league or did you just draft a bunch of pitchers early? Other than Ryan and Wilson those other 7 went petty quick in most drafts.
It was actually a 10 team league, but an automated draft and I did rank pitchers high. In the first 10 rounds I put the 5 Starting Pitcher positions in there. So I got great pitching, Alex Rodriguez, Derrek Lee and Chase Utley, but an okay SS (Carlos Guillen) and okay OFs (Pat Burrell, Eric Byrnes, Justin Upton, Ryan Church and Jeremy Hermida). Funny thing is if I had swapped out the position of LF when I got Pat Burrell with SS I would have got Hanley Ramirez. Can you imagine a team with Chase Utley, A-Rod and Hanley plus that pitching.
crazy automated drafts, i can barely imagine getting a-rod and utley together on one team, let alone utley hanley and a-rod..... that would have been ridiculous.....
The funny thing is that I made a trade over the weekend. I gave up Justin Morneau, which hurts and Carlos Guillen, but I got back Jim Thome to play UTL instead of Morneau and I landed Hanley.
