	According to the players they are.. In this months Sports Illustatrated, the MLB Players Poll asked the question "Which team has the best starting pitching in baseball?" Here are the results: Red Sox ----- 25% Diamondbacks ------ 19% Tigers ------ 17% Mariners ----- 8 % Mets ----- 7% Players couldn't vote for their own team. Boston also finished third in best lineup in baseball poll last month.

	Yeah, but I would go out on a limb and say the bullpen did not poll too high Currently the achilles heal for the Sox.

	I think if there was a poll for who has the best starting pitching through the first quarter season it would have to go to the Indians or Diamondbacks. Tampa Bay and Toronto not far back.

	Currently the achilles heal for the Sox. Unless you make about 5 trades I don't see you escaping from Troy with your life!

	An interesting poll. So players themselves think that the Sox pitchers are the best. Now we all know. I would be curious to know just exactly when the poll was taken? I would guess in spring training. Even with this though, as far as just this years performances go, I think anyone would be hard pressed to not say that the Indians are the best so far.

	I would be curious to know just exactly when the poll was taken? I would guess in spring training. Exactly what I was thinking. How is it possible for players to rate them higher than Cleveland, Arizona and Toronto......Must have been from before the season started.

	Unless you make about 5 trades I don't see you escaping from Troy with your life! ---- Wishful thinking on your part...GEE, what's easier to correct, a shaky bullpen or 2/5 of your starting rotation...Oops.. Smart move keeping Kennedy and Hughes...LOL
