The Angels last 7 games they lost 5 out of those 7. The White Sox arent even that good of a team we should of blown them away. The Rays have deffinetly stepped up but a sweep?. Im sorry i keep emphasizing on the sweep from the Rays but i cant get over it. we need to start playing better ball. But its a long season every team has there struggles.

GO ANGELS

Against the Rays in games 1and 2 good pitching no offense in game 3 ok hitting and pitching lousy bulpen sometimes thats just the way it goes

but honestly with all the injuries the Angels have had how many of you thought they would be in 1st place on May 16th

It really doesn't get any better then 1st place...

We are a 1/2 on the A's after todays games.

We are 2 and 1/2 on the Rangers.  Wow, 8-2 in there last 10 games. Who would have thought.

Seattle, well let's just put it this way. They will be sellers when the trade deadline comes around.

Bottomline is, the Rays do have good pitching and they are going up against teams in the east such as the Yankees and Red Sox's, so we must give them some praise for how they have been playing this season. They lead the East right now by a 1/2, or may be tied with Botson if Boston wins there second game in the double header tonight. It will go either way, but they will still be in first place in the East.

We are just having a bad 10 games (3-7), but you have to look at the over all picture.

Injuries have hurt us, but not to the point where we are not in first place. Just think about it........ I think everyone and there dog have had injuries already and we are still leading the pack in the West...

Lackey is back and Kendrick is almost back, so times are going to get better.

GO Angels!!!

With the injuries the injuries that the Angels have had, the fact that they are in 1st place in the West is a good sign. Lackey is back now and Weaver is pitching better as of late. The Angels have one of the best pitching staffs in the league. Figgins and Kendrick have been out hurt too, so when they get back, it should help them score some more runs.
