	Brandon Webb picked up his league-leading 9th win of the season as the Diamondbacks defeated the Rockies 8-5. The Rockies scored 4 runs in the final 2 innings, but closer Brandon Lyon shut the door on the Rockies, picking up his 12th save of the season. It is great to see Webb, my pre-season Cy Young winner off to such a great start. He had a better year last year than he had in his Cy Young season, and he is doing even better this season. The D-Backs (26-15) have now opened up a 4.5 game lead over the Dodgers.

	Webb is unbelievable. Helps that he has good offense behind him, but geez 9-0 this is spectacular! Congrads to Webb, and hopefully lots more goodness to come!

	Great to see our offense pick it up as well. But Brandon Medders just earned a spot on the Tucson Sidewinders when Doug Davis comes back.

	Webb is a STUD. 9-0 with a 2.56 ERA. I can smell a second Cy Young in 3 years. He has more than a third of the D-Backs wins this season. He has given up 17 walks in 63.1 innings. Not bad at all. That is .268 walks per inning. It also helps that he has arguably one of the best teams behind him. But regardless of that fact Webb is probably the best pitcher in baseball right now.

	Webb is great, but another disappointing outing from the bullpen. They need to get it together fast if this team is going to win the NL West.

	My hat's off to you guys. I've liked Brandon Webb for a while, and it sucks that he's doing so well bc Big Z won't be able to win the Cy Young like I hoped. . I'm glad we were recently able to sweep you guys so that we no longer have to be a "distant" 2nd in the National League! Good luck to you guys, (no hard feelings about the NLDS).

	Benjie: Brandon Medders doesn't have any options left so we can't send him down. Slaten also has no options left so I don't know who we will send down when Davis comes back.
