Pacers get jeffries or james and ny's1st rounder


tinsley fits GREAT in the new coaches offense! jeffries contract is off NY's hands!!!!

Won't happen, theres no need to trade the pick with high odds of being 1 or 2. I would rather have Rose than Tinsley

I want Rose over Tinsley any day.  If we get a top two pick, we will have him, and even if we do not, he has had trouble with the law in the past and does he have a bad contract?  We cannot trade an expiring contract like Cancerbury.  I'd rather be bad one year with him and get another high pick than trade him for someone who is not a cancer and has years remaining on his deal.

The deal makes sense for the Knicks only to get rid of Jeffries & James contracts. Tinsley has been injured for the better part of 4 years now, playing in 40, 42, 72 and 39 games during that time. Maybe coming home would rejuvenate him(?) I'd make the deal.

That's be great in terms of getting rid of contracts, but I'm not sold on Tinsley as a player that we should give up our No. 6 first rounder. At the six spot we can nab Gallinari who would be a perfect fit for D'Antoni's system. Although at the Pacers' spot, we could get Joe Alexander, who mark my words will be AMAZING (eventually) in the NBA. I just don't like messing around with draft picks.
