Anybody else sick of the Twins bringing in a bunch of mediocre free agents (Lamb, Everett, Baptista, etc ) instead of signing  one major, proven free agent a year. In other words, save the $5 million we spent on Lamb and Everett and sign a good player. Either that or just go with your good farm system and be done with it. Bring up Cassilla and Buschur and Company and go with it. I just want to see the Twins sign a power-hitting third baseman like Troy Glaus who was available a couple years ago sometime in my lifetime. We need a big stick from the right side of the plate like Chicago has in Dye and Boston has in Manny. Any thoughts?

I think the Twins should get rid of Everett and let their young players get a chance to play.  We have a lot of good young players in the minor leagues and right now we're just wasting the talent of guys who are ready for the major leagues.  Guys like Buscher and Casilla are ready for the majors but aren't able to play because we have worthless guys like Adam Everett starting.  Mike Lamb is starting to hit better now but he has been a disappointment.  0 homeruns for a guy they thought was going to hit 15 - 20.
