Anyone who has seen me post knows that this is not a snap judgement based on tonights game, instead, this goes back to last year. What is his obsession with trying to pull the ball? What a selfish, self defeating approach to have at the plate.
I love how every swing is on the exact same plane, regardless of pitch speed, type, angle, or location. Basically, he is strictly a "mistake" hitter. The only time he will make contact is when the pitcher accidentally throws one where he swings the bat. All that being said, he'd still rather swing at ball 4 than the meatball before it that caught the heart of the plate!!!!
It truly is disgusting and very difficult to watch.

Rock and Brian had it right, Parra deserved much better than how that 7th inning played out. Keep it together boys, get this kid the win. He deserves it!

Parra from what I heard was tossing a good game until the 7th when someone booted a ball, I was outside finally enjoying the nice weather and having a camp fire listening to Mr. Baseball, Man hes awesome but anyway Billy really pisses me off and I was thinking to myself why doesnt he ride the bench for a few games? Yeah, yeah 21 RBI's and 7 dingers, he's batting .196 or some shit like that and I am sick of him not taking the ball the other way, stop trying to hit 50 homers and just try to hit the damn ball.. Time to sit billy NED!!!

Is it just me, or are the Brewers getting exactly the same production out of center field that they got last year? What is wrong with playing Gwynn once in a while, ecspecially when the decide to sit Weeks, who shouldn't be hitting leadoff anyway. You sit Weeks,sit Cameron, and hit Gwynn leadoff.
As far as Hall, I have been calling for Gamel for weeks now. Hall is going to hit 35 HR's, with an average of .205. Sounds a lot like Rob Deer to me.

I'm unhappy with the fact that I think Tony Gwynn, and even Gabe Kapler could be better additions to the lineup on a more consistent basis. When Kapler had his chance, he was doing the most with his opportunities.
Billy Hall hasn't gotten worse, but he hasn't gotten better. He'll hit his token home-run once in a while, but other than that, the man needs to step up.

Bill Hall sucks, I have been saying that for 2 years on this board. Of all the guys we decided to buy out arbitration years on, we jumped the gun and awarded a long term offer to this idiot. Hall is a incredible athlete he is just a dumb baseball player. Hall has great speed he just can't steal bases. He has great power and reflexes, he just tries to pull every pitch 400 ft. He is decent defensively on the infield, strong arm and makes a lot of good plays while often butchering the routine ones. I have seen some crappy base running, and plate discipline too from Billy in the last couple years. To sum it up I would say Hall is a tease, a player with a ton of talent just to stupid to understand how to use it.

If there were a better option than Hall at 3rd, he'd be on the bench (regardless of his salary - we learned that last year with Jenkins). However, there isn't - and that's the real problem - because it would be nice to punish him for nights like this - but they just can't afford to do it defensively.
