I think  this move just solidifies a great future for the Rays.  With Kazmir, Shields, Garza, Sonnanstine, and Jackson, plus the great pitchers we have in the farm system, tis team is going to compete for many years.  Locking up Evan and Pena for a few years is great too.  Lock up Crawford too and this will get very interesting for our future.  Go Rays!!

guess who is moving on up, to the top, to that big deluxe apartment in the sky???  that would be the Rays...  with the moves that are made by management and ownership, we are going to climb on up and stay there for a while...

I like what the Rays are doing by locking up their young talent as soon as possible. I find Kazmir's contract team friendly and well worth the risk.
