LaRoche is Bum

After watching LaRoche's futile attempt at stopping that ball that was hit by Ankiel late in the game last night, I have come to the conclusion that he is killing the Pirates not only with his bat but with his glove as well......That ball that was hit to him was 3 feet to his right and he couldnt even get a glove on it!!...........I say get rid of the bum or put him on the bench and give The 1st base job to Pearce, or trade LaRoche for Ryan Garko of the Indians, at least he has some upside to him.

I was all for this trade last year, and I defended LaRoche until the bitter end.  That bitter end finally came about two weeks ago.  Honestly, when your true "cleanup hitter" first baseman is battling the Mendoza line in late May, you need to start thinking about a change.  And I know all that jazz about his slow starts, but the team needs RBI's from him now, not in late August when they are 20 games under .500.  In all honesty, this guy really only had one strong season at the plate in the majors.

With all this talk about moving Nady, why not put X back on first and bring in another outfielder?  Now, with all that said, it does look like he's been hitting better lately!
