Errors, the final straw...  Since when are Seattle Mariners games decided by an error on our side?  We have gotten away from our greatest strength and the one statistic that has kept us in ballgames for the past 7 years.  Our defense is the second worst in the American League, only the Texas Rangers are worse.  We are middle of the road with double plays.  We are the 7th best team to steal against.  Only two teams have worse ERA's in the AL(Texas Rangers and Detroit Tigers.)  Strangely enough, we are 4th best in strikeouts.  Oh, nevermind, we have issued the 3rd most walks.  Way to go Stottlemeyer.  I'm about ready to Shoot the Sherriff, and I think I'll kill the deputy, oooh ooh  oooooh!   Opponents are batting .271 against our staff, bad enough for 11th in the AL.  I am surprised to see that 3 other teams have worse batting averages(Orioles, White Sox, and Indians.)  We are not great in HR's, 9th.  How's our situational hitting?  Funny you should ask, we are 6th in total bases, but 11th in runs.  Way to knock them in.  Can't we bunt at times, coach?  Only 3 other teams have taken less walks than the Seattle Mariners.  Add that up and we are last in on-base-percentage w/ .308.  Something has got to change isn't enough...
