I am convinced Bob Kraft buys the referee jerseys for the NFL, the way they call games for the Pats. Now all of a sudden, after all the APPOLOGIZING Belichik did months ago, .. everythinjg is OK, like someone handed the Patriots a Mentos candy. All of a sudden, their own home town paper "lied" about having a story about somehting that never happend? Right.  Not liek there wasnt MONTHS to prepare for this.

Question is, how much cash was handed out to shut this story up? Why would all the appologizing happen in the beggining if nothing was wrong by the Patriots?

This is all very stupid. Very very stupid. I actually, in defense of Patriots fans, think this is dragggggggggged on way to long. All the facts were out there form the get-go.. why do they still insist on getting this Walsh guy involved more? What are they gopng to do, strip the PAts of thier past titles? NO! so stop with this garbage stuff about the tapes. its barely even news worthy.  They cheated, taping signals, and walk throughs, we get it. they take away their draft pick, and thye still get the 7th pick int he draft.. what did anything accomplish? 

Eveyone just needs to shut up. The league/ goodall handled this fishy, now matt walsh has nothing... after months, which is fishy, ..  the media  really just needs to stop covering this. It s a bad circus show, ful of lies, adn we'll never know the truth .. bc i doubt the whole truth is out there... but who cares. Whats done is done.

Saying the Giants cheated because LT was doing Coke, not heroin as previously stated, is a bit of a stretch.  If anything, his game suffered because of it and it  took years off his career.

  This isn't the first time the Globe has gotten it wrong for the sake of a story.  I'm not sure if what was filmed would make that much of a difference and it was dealt with accordingly.  Time to move on.  Belichick is a world class coach, cutting his teeth with Parcells' Giants, and the teams he puts together are perennial contenders.  Should he have done this? No.  Would this have made a difference with regard to the Patriots three Super Bowl Championships?  Doubtful.
