The Detroit Pistons have played themselves into a great position right now.  They were in a very vunerable position just a few days ago.  Think about it.  They allowed the Philadelphia Sixers to get back into the series before they shook the sleep out of their play.  They face the Orlando Magic, a team bent on revenge for ouster the past few years from the playoffs by the Pistons, and the coming out party of Dwight Howard in the post season.  Chauncey Billups goes down.  Right now, they await their next opponent in the Eastern Conference finals as they reflect back on their round two 4-1 victory over a beat down Orlando Magic team searching for answers.

The look of a champion.  Detroit has it.  Their bench is coming up big.  Guys are stepping into the lineup and contributing, making up for the lack of others.  Rodney Stuckey, Richard Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince are more than compensating for the absence of Chauncey Billups, for the second round anyway.  He will be needed back for the next round as competition heats up a few notches.  Defense.  Defense wins championships.  They are scoring, and keeping the other team off balance with some nice defensive intensity.  On to the next round.

Rasheed Wallace will need to step up his play, on both ends of the floor, for Detroit to advance to the NBA finals.

Sheed must play at his best for the Pistons to advance to the NBA finals. He has to rebound and score inside. He can not lose his cool during a close game. He did a good job taking it to Howard in game 5.

Are the Pistons the only team in the league that can win a road game? Seems so.

The boy's are going to be just fine. The Pistons look good right now. and from the look of things i don't think Boston is going to be a problem. We know how to play them in the half court. we need to force the tempo and look for our shots. The only thing that we don't have an answer for is the three point shooting that Boston is going to put on us. Yeah Sheed can shoot the three ball but he is only one person. Boston got four guys that shoot the three. so we will need to run them off the three point line every time. j max is going to have to be big for us down low in the paint. But other than that we are going to be fine. I say we win in 5!

Detroit takes care of business yet again, this time in Boston.  That will put the pressure on Boston to win in Detroit.  Very difficult.  The Pistons need to squash any momentum that the Celtics may be bringing with them for game 3 in Detroit.  Chauncey, Rip, 'Sheed, McDyess and Tay putting the clamps down in the next game will put a world of hurt on the Celtics' big 3.

Time to take care of some more business.
