First you let Boston steal your Mojo with that whole buried jersey under the stadium. Now the Tampa Bay Rays are better than you. Nice two hundred million dollar payroll. Money can't buy you love or a championship since last century. Looks like a long century to be a Yankee fan!!

Hey "genius", last I checked, 2000 is the first year of this century. And, just in case you forgot, the Yankees won the World Series that year. And, if you really believe that the Rays are better then the Yankees, you obviously don't know baseball. The Rays also have a better record then your Indians... are they better then Cleveland also??? No.
You're an Indians fan. Who are you to talk about a long century? You never have, and probably never will see a World Series Championship.
Now hurry back to your little Cleveland Indians message board with the rest of the seasoned losers.

Actually the year 2000 is the last year of the last century. 2001 starts the new century. Just watching the Rays wax the Yankees again. And yes I believe the Rays are better than the Yankees. Starting pitching is better and that's 90 percent of the game. Cleveland is currently in first in the Central, they will be fine, despite Eric Wedge's incompentence. Most of the Yankees championships were probably before you were born. Since I have been alive they won in 77,78 and then again the the 90's. Time to stop counting championships from before minorities were allowed to play.....

First of all, I've been alive through all 6 of those championships as well. Second, the first day of the 21st cebtury was January 1, 2000, not Jan. 1, 2001. If you would like me to do the math for you, from Jan 1, 1900 to Dec 31, 1999 is 100 years, thus a century, as is Jan.1 2000 to Dec. 31, 2099. You got it? Can you keep up? As for the Rays being better then the Yankees, the teams are 5-5 against each other. That is with the Rays playing to the top of their ability, and the Yankees not even close. Are you still going to believe this in September when the Rays are 15 games out of first? Or, will it be just another good year for a young team. Their best bet is to finish over .500 this year, that's it, no playoffs, and at best 3rd in the AL East.
As for your Indians, I know that they'll be fine. They're a good team. My point was that although the Rays have a better record then them, that doesn't make them a better team.

If the Rays finish third then i guess you guys cannot finish any higher than 4th? If you sign David Wells then i know it will be last place for sure.

Rays haven't been playing to the top of their ability, we have been dealing with alot of injuries also. By the looks of it, it looks like the Rays are better. We started out the beginning of the season without our top two pitchers and we just got them back and have been owning with them.

Boston hasn't looked to good lately either. But go ahead, rule the Yankees out again. Because their 4.5 games out of first, their season is over. Its kinda funny that thats been the same thing you guys have been saying for the past 2 years. Please, just don't talk about whos winning the division until september, because it might just be the Red Sox not making it.

That's some bad math. =/
1999-1900=99 years.
2000-1900=100 years.
2000 is the last year of the 20th century. Year 1 was the begging of the first century, and year 100 was the final year in the first century. Year 101 was the first year of the 2nd century, and year 200 was the end of the second century. There is no year zero.
Yes, this was my first post, and yes I think pointing out your error was worth it.
On to baseball, I'm surprised by the Yank's performance this year. Very surprised. However, I suppose I shouldn't be. Their pitching was about done by the end of last year, and they didn't really make much of the lag up over the off season. I'm not a Yankee fan, but I did expect a lot more out of them.
