Let's all move on now from last season and look to the new regime.  Personally I'm sad to see D'Antoni go, I think if the front office wouldn've given him the correct personal, the 7 seconds or less philosphy had a chance to win a championship.

I know this poll may be premature, as Kerr is yet to really annouce any strong canidates, but maybe he'll check out the post and take the fans vote into consideration.

In a perfect world, I'd want Byron Scott, but the chances of that are slim to none.

I heard they'd take a look at Mark Jackson on ESPN Radio, think it was Gottlieb.

I think they need a veteran coach to motivate Shaq and keep all the other vets on the same page.  Should be interesting to see what they do.

CBS says that the Suns will be talking to Mark Jackson and Paul Silas this week. The Suns have also mentioned that there are coaching candidates they like that are still involved in the playoffs. I looked at the assistants still in the playoffs and frankly I don't know how good any of them are. Nobody stood out as an experienced, well qualified Head Coach. What do you guys think?

just reported on the espn sports ticker that Kurt Rambis, former phoenix sun and current laker assistant coach is the current front runner for the Suns head coach position. then it also said that they are still going to interview mark jackson.  im thinking it over and rambis sounds really good right now. he has the coaching experience(and was taught by phil jackson) and he was a phoenix suns player so that has me a little biased, especially since growing up in phoenix and playing ball and wearing glasses all my friends called me Rambis!!!! just a little biased here!!! hahaha

Jarrod

I just saw the ticker about Rambis on espn. He could be good, but didn't he have a short stint with the Lakers a while back. I just don't know if he's head coaching material. So far I can't say that I'm real crazy about anyone mentioned, but really, the Suns are going to have to open up the checkbook if they are going to get anyone who can lead this team through the playoffs. I just don't have much confidence in them at the moment.

Somebody who is not on your list, who you should probably take a long, hard look at is Avery Johnson.  That guy got seriously shafted in Dallas.  He's a pretty smart dude, and I think he'd actually be a pretty nice fit for this Suns team.

FYI for all you Phoenix fans Rambis did play for your team for about three years but he was a Laker player for nine years, plus all of his years of coaching. No sense in talking about him as a true Sun, cause he is a Laker and as weird as it would be I would start rooting for your team if Rambis is the man.
