LSU released Morgan!

Look out Detroit, here we come!  And, this time, we're going to win the damn thing!

Go Bruins!

It took LSU more than a week to process the formal release of J'mison Morgan. Now, we still haven't seen the official release so we can offer him scholarship or at least have Coach Howland to comment.

Technology must have gone backward at LSU...

Did you see Johnsons comments on the whole thing, they were pathetic if you ask me. He said when you sign with a school you are signing to play for the name on the front of your jersey not a specific coach. He said the jeresy's there still say LSU on the front of them.

Well Trent it looks like the front of Morgans jersey will say UCLA on it!!

Outstanding!!!

Should be much more athletic, but with less of an offensive game. He will be a monster in the middle though and running a 3 guard offense should be lots of fun.

Hope he doesn't change his mind.

Let's hope that Morgan finds his way to Westwood without the help of O.J. Mayos agent.

If everyone returns the roster would read : Mbah a Moute, Aboya, Keefe, Morgan, Gordon, Roll, Dragovic, Shipp, Collison, Holiday, Anderson and Lee.   I hope Ben can find minutes for all of them.   Substitutions may look like a line change in a hockey game.

I agree Sac, he won't change his as long as Love is gone! He'll start and dominate the boards.  Can't wait for the season to start.

Substitutions may look like a line change in a hockey game.   That's a hilarious mental image.  Can you imagine a legitimate 10-man "rotation"?  They could be deep enough at each position to substitute A-team and B-team regularly enough to keep everybody fresh yet warmed up throughout.  The word "unstoppable" comes to mind.

In the 90's, Rick Pitino or Dean Smith's teams played 10 men rotation. But it will be tough to implement it on Coach Howland's man-to-man defense. To get the chemistry going with 5 incoming freshmen whereas each position must know when to switch or help out on the weak side will take some major commitments.
