A dream team put together by sportsnet

NEW President: Colin Campbell   New GM: Dave Nonis    New Coach:  Craig Hartsburg

The weakest spot is probably Hartsburg. Though he has done amazing things at the junior level ie Canadian junior gold medal, his nhl experience is somewhat limited.  Id definitely be willing to give him a shot; but why not Joel Quenneville?

I like your idea of Campbell and Nonis, I think a guy like Nonis is exactly what the Maple Leafs need. He pulled off argueably the best trade in the last 3 years and was fired for not giving up youth. Its not his fault the team went from first to worst with injuries and poor play by Luongo, but he got the axe. I would like to see Dale Hunter given a crack at head coach.

Yeah I agree Hartsburg isnt that strong but if they get Ron Wilson as head coach and harstburg as an assitant that would make the coaching staff a lot better. There is speculation that Nonis will come to Toronto and work in a team with Cliff Fletcher or if Fletcher doesnt want to stay get former Stars GM Doug Amrstrong and Nonis as a tandem

I like the idea of Wilson and Hartsburg as a coaching tandem.  Or maybe wilson with hunter

Nonis made a great trade, but that's about it... look at the problems the Canucks have had since Brian Burke left. Burke built the team, Nonis hasn't really done that much. IMO, Brian Burke is still the guy the team needs... AND he should be the guy who picks the HC...
