Having to Root for UofM!!!!

The odd thing about the BCS is you need strength of schedule to help your BCS score. This creates the dilema, do you root for UofM to have the best possible record for the end of the year showdown, or do you hope they lose every game knowing it may cost OSU a shot at a invite to the NC game?

I think it is a flaw of the system as I hate to see OSU win, but as of late this means more to OSU than us Wolverine fans. It is what it is!

I root for Michigan but when they lose I cannot keep from smiling. The Appy St. loss will last my whole lifetime and I smile every time I wear my Appy St. shirt or use the beer koozie.

I hope Michigan beats ND. I hate ND.

I think Michigan's schedule is pretty good this year and they will win the Big Ten (or share) if they beat OSU. The good thing about that possible scenario is RR can't run a million trick play sand onside kicks against the Bucks like he has nothing to lose.

Good point about having nothing to lose, those teams. OSU may be UofM's NC game and will be sky high for it. I really think winning breeds a certain amount of contempt. OSU could very easily take UofM lightly.

I think you are too generous about UofM being in the hunt to win it. they are going to have some growing pains learning the spread. RR at WVU in his first year was not pretty. 8-4 would be a success.
