Looks like as of now, the Dbacks bullpen blew another game today.  Something seriously needs to change on this team or else we gonna slip into some mass depression as a team.  Juan Cruz could not find strike zone to end game, and Pena gives Ward a cookie right over plate first pitch with bases loaded 1 out.  Unbelievable.

The bullpen has been inconsistent so far. Tony Pena is having a really bad season. He was the favorite to be the closer, and people on the boards were complaining when Brandon Lyon was announced the closer. Chad Qualls has been bad in his last 4 appearances. Juan Cruz hasn't been that good either.

Edgar Gonzalez pitched well yesterday, but the bullpen blew it again.

7 innings, 11 runs (all earned) in the series against the Cubs for the bullpen. They'd better get their act together quickly.

Chad Qualls had been great up until this weekend.  It's a shame to see great outings by Max Scherzer and Edgar Gonzalez wasted and a series given away.  It's not going to get any easier against the Rockies and Tigers, but at least they'll be at home.

Did you guys thing Qualls would go all year without a few crappy games? Or any of the D-Backs. They are so young there are bound to be stretches where the team doesn't have it together. In two weeks they'll probably have an 8 game win streak. Somewhat like last year but much better as a whole.

In the end the Diamondbacks will be a good team. I'm sure there will be some tweeks along the way(Tracy in for Reynolds??)( Salazar for Byrnes) It will be interesting.

Hey people....remember last year and all the struggles we went through, including an 8 game losing streak. This year, Justin Upton is hitting better. Ojeda has been solid. We have improved starters (Webb is 8-0)and just roll with the punches. Meanwhile, our opposition is not exactly climbing Mt Everest either.  Ninety-five percent of all the clubs out there would love to have our record and our potential...
