I was just thinking that before the game started tonight.  I wonder if it has to do with the large number of moms that come out to the game on mothers day.  Just a guess, I have no idea.

I've noticed that as well, and being a Twins fan that lives in Seattle I'm quite pleased with it.  Sure, I have XM Radio and listening to the games is great, but it's always nice to see them on television once in awhile.  And tonight it was made even better with a 9-8 win over the Bo Sox!

Has anyone else noticed that the Twins always play a Mother's Day game on ESPN? It does seem like they do.  I am always excited to see the Twins play on Mother's Day, because it seems like they always hit extremely well, especially Torii (still hit well in Tampa yesterday).  I wish they could use the pink bats everyday!

They noted this on ESPN's telecast last night, but all of the Twins hits on Sunday came off of pink bats. Interesting statistic, to say the least, especially when not all players used them (because then it wouldn't be surprising they all came off of pink bats).

Not every year, just the last 3.  Twins...Mothers...it makes sense if it is intentional.
