Tarvaris was 8-4 last year, that is not bad.  Considering he was hurt for part of the year, that is pretty dang good in your first real year of playing.  If he can go 10-6 that makes the playoffs in the NFC.10-6 isn't even an improvement, just staying the same.  Vikings will go deep, Health of team will depend how deep they go.

You make a very good point.  Apparently we can only get objectivity from non-Viking and non-Packer fans on this post.  The Vikings and Tavaris Jackson should be better this year. The Packers shouldn't be as good this year after losing Farve and replacing him with a first year strarter.  I don't mind as a Vikings fan if the Packer rubes want us to prove we are better than they are before we start talking about a division title this year.  The Giants are Super Bowl Champions until they are knocked out of the playoffs.  May the best team win.

Well with my Chiefs letting him go to the Vikes, they are probalby the best defense in the NFC, if not the league.
