Two games in a row the Tribe have brought their offense to the ballpark. Can it be, with weather warming, that we may see these bats consistantly again? Hafner might shows some sign of breaking out as is Blake.  The one that I strongly believe needs to be sent back down is Andy Marte. He has 2 hits in 20 at bats and 5 strikeouts. Send him to Akron and bring up Wes Hodges. Wes it hitting well and deserves right now more than Marte does to be given a chance in the "Big Show".

Aaron Laffey looked extremely good again today. Another Shutout pitched by Indians pitching. I think that is 4 already in 36 games along with 5 games only giving up 1 run. Craig  Breslow tonite shows that the Tribe can count on him while pitchiing the last 2 innings of the game in relief securing the shutout.

Hey, were only a 1/2 game out of first! Lookout American League, the sleeping giant has risen!

Go Tribe!

Postive post for suffering tribe fans, I too believe that Hafner finally looks like he is going to hit again.  Grady is looking good, as for Marte, he is out of options so if the Indians sent him down, another team could claim him..  I still think he can become a productive player, and given the Indians penchant for giving up to early on prospects, see Brian Giles, Richie Sexson, Brandon Phillips, etc. they should probably give Marte more time.

Though Marte has improved his strikeout ercentage in the last year in Buffalo, he still strikes out once every 4 at bats. Being in the Majors, a young talent needs to dig in and show his talent like Asdrubal Cabrera has done. I see that stud Wes Hodges putting up big number his first 2 years in the minors, he deserves a shot. With Akron only AA, they want to push Hodges over to Buffalo to give him some AAA time. He is a talent!

Yeah, it's good to see that they look like they are starting to come around, but I am still watching closely. There seems to be an abundance of bad teams this year.
