By Lawrence Barreca. Sixs weeks have now gone by and the races in each division seem to get tighter with each game. This is due to outstanding production from some surprise players this season. Below are my Week 7 "Hot" Waiver Wire Pickups:


Marco Scutaro (TOR)- If the Blue Jays plan to stay in the AL East race, they will need backup shortstop Marco Scutaro to produce. With both David Eckstein and John McDonald on the disabled list, Scutaro has a very important task in front of him. Look for Marco to get more at-bats (many more) until one of the other two shortstops return. To read the rest, click here
