Whats the word on this guy. The way it appears that this guy was a steal in the draft. Is he hurt bad and how long to get back?

His last two season went real well in college but he only ran a 4.59 at one of combines and that scared some people away, he ended up improving it to like 4.40. He also got like a 6 on the wonderlic test which is a score most primates get....seriously he is dumb though

Shortly before the draft he also admitted to testing positive for pot on 2 drug tests and that is why he fell so far in the draft.

I can't wait for him to catch a pass just to hear the announcer.

"Manning to Manningham for 12 yards"

I think the problem with the marihuana usage was not that he had used it, but that he lied at the Scouting Combine about the use and having got caught. That raised some character questions about Mario and the poor 40-yard dash times and the low Wonderlic-test score apparently "took him off the draft boards" of some teams, but I think he is good value at the problem-infested third round.

He's not hurt too bad but I can understand why he fell so far in the draft. He is a real "me" kinda guy. He is slow and even though he could torch inferior players, he could never show himself to be a "great" player against top CB's.

He probably tweaked his leg bending over to pick up a roach.

Do not think it is too bad. Steve Smith had a hamstring last season in mini-camp and still was able to get a mojority of the work in pre-season until a back injury. I think that by the end of the year Manningham will be in a regular rotation and eventually as Amani Toomer looks at retirement he will take that position with Plaxico and Steve Smith at the slot. Maybe two more years.

Just my opinion, but I think this guy will be huge for the G-Men in a year or two.  He will be a great subsitute for Toomer when he retires but could be our next no. 1.  A huge steal in the 3rd round.  Definitley a first rounder.  He lied about smoking pot and fail 2 drug test @ Michigan for pot.  If those are major off-field issues to the scouts, they have failed their teams.   I am stoked to see what he can do!

Time for these guys to get used to Coughlin's training camp.

This isn't NCAA football anymore, kids.

Best of luck to both in getting back on the field.
