I thought people who wrote columns or  cute little things on a website, had to do their homework.  I am a born and raised Yankee fan.  Marino Rivera is my favorite player.  I find if very funny that this was the best that you could come up with,  I bet you have never been to New York.  There is this new show on MTV called The Paper, its about kids who work on a school paper.  Give them a call they should be able to help you on your next assignment. This one was really pathetic.

Seriously, if he is your favorite player-- shouldn't you be able to spell his name right?

I am so sick of hearing about Yankee and Red Sox fans.  Not nearly enough is wrote about the greatest fans in baseball, Cardinals fans.  You know--baseball purists!!

I hate the people that call it "Cardinal Nation".  Let the Yanks/Redsox, have that crap. We don't have to be unified.  We appreciate, fundamental baseball played perfectly.  We love a cannon throw from right center to smoke a runner at third.  We love it when a guy batting .329 with a buttload of HR's squares to bunt a runner over to third. And we only BOO jerks.  Not when we think his numbers aren't good enough.

So no matter how much this pathetic debate goes on about Yankee and Redsox Fans all of you should know that your playing for second place. Ask any player that has played St. Louis and in New York or Boston.

I live in New York (I'm a Mets fan) and I thought this article was hilarious.  Though it is a parody, it is actually quite accurate.  I don't know why Yankee fans don't like this so much since he included a category for true fans, of which there are plenty.  Unfortunately, the ones we tend to notice are the most obnoxious ones because they are loud and need attention unlike the true fans.
