When is PSU going to wake upm and fire Jo Pa.

Not only is he recruiting classes in the bottom half of D1 schools , bu tthe ones he is bringing in are thugs.

IT COULD BE THAT  PENN STATE WOULD BE BETTER OFF IF PATERNO RETIRED BUT I THINK HE'S EARNED THE RIGHT TO COACH TILL THE END OF HIS CONTRACT THIS YEAR BEFORE STEPPING DOWN

Yes, Penn State had a down year as far as recruiting is concerned. However, #43 (Rivals) is not in the bottom half of teams when there are 119 FBS (1-A) teams. You must be a Villanova graduate to come up with math like that.

As far as Paterno bringing in thugs, it does not appear that he is bringing in players with long rap sheets. And his players are not any more "thuggish" than other teams; it's just that JoePa has always had squeaky clean programs and players in the past, so the change is more pronounced.
