Red Sox should rest Ortiz!

The Boston Red Sox are loaded with talent and most importantly they are loaded with good pitching. Ortiz who is a big part of their offense needs to be healthy to assure the Red Sox's chances in October. Why risk further injury to such a great talent when they can win probably enough games without him to command first place in their division. A 15 to 20 day rest would probably solve the problem and the Sox are a strong enough team to get the job done in his absence. The Yankees are rebuilding and they will not  be factor this season so why agrivate an injury further when you have opportunity to rest Ortiz.
