Also Peedubya:

I think  a team needs a balance of fresh young talent and solid dependable veterans, too bad we're not gunna have any veterans soon.  And what makes you think TT will keep this group around for 4-5 years? building a dynasty? r u kidding... TT is building a glorified college team!

Are you mental? In 4-5 year when some of a veterans are gone (Driver, Clifton, Tauscher, Harris, Woodson Etc) everyone else will also have 4-5 years of experiance making them a veteran.  That means instead of signing one Reggie White...we will have essentially 10 to 15 to 20 solid VETERAN players who TT himself has selected and developed...He is building a dynasty you fools lol!!!

All I'm saying is the whole stat of a teams avg. age is little bogus to me.  I would rather go by the avg. age of the starters, and yes you get younger with Aaron Rodgers.  Sure you guys have 6-7 older guys leaving who will be replaced by younger players.  But just do the math, your team also returns 46 - 47 players who all got a year older, it's about a wash for your Packers avg age from last year.  I just think the avg. age of a team is an overblown stat.

sorry crweber06,

Your forgetting one thing in 4-5 years from now most of the players now will be gone and replaced by a whole new crop of rookies.  Once our players now get a few years under their belt, most will be gone, thats the TT way.  One or two might stick for a while but why sign a guy coming off his rookie contract to a big long term contract (possibly expensive) when you can just draft his replacement and start over again.  Why did you think he drafted Brohm?

I just believe to truly build a superbowl team, a dynasty.  You need to use all avenues of getting players: The Draft, Free Agency & Trades.  You cannot just depend on one of these to build your team with.  If you have good people who can recognize/evaulate talent then it shouldn't matter if its in the draft, free agency or a trade.

I think TT is doing great, he may have a few busts in the draft but the gems are here to stay. Kampman I believe is as great as the Minister of Defense, Barnett is here to stay along with several other talented players. I bet Jennings will be the next Driver and will be here till he retires. TT is all about development which in my eyes is great, its nice knowing that we don't have a brand new team every few years and have to get to know the team again. Rem a few years ago the Packers had a losing record and built through the draft and we are now Superbowl contenders once we see how Rodgers preforms. TT is a genius in my eyes, the young players are already proven and it seems like he is drafting players of excellent character, not to mention the coaches seem like the best in the league.
