Is anyone really surprised that a player from Florida would be accused of stealing a credit card from a dead student and using it the very next day ?

Im suprised that anyone would do this thats just terrible that somebody would steal and use a credit card  that belonged to a guy who died. can any football players stay out of trouble during the off season. there should be a new criteria for judging the top 25 recruiting class, returning players, and the team with the fewest arrests.

Thats so sad, athlete or no athlete we have to show alot more respect for the deceased than that; it seems like a person would feel bad everytime that they used the card, so suprised that It went on this long....

When I read this, I couldn't believe it. Did this guy think he wouldn't get caught? How the heck did he even get into college being this stupid! Unbelievable how dumb he could be. His lack of intelligence is beyond me. I would like to see his grades and see the classes he is taking. He couldn't be possibly taking college level courses, there is just no way. I bet my  7 year old is smarter than this guy!

Not just Florida and I did not care for the inference, but kids from schools all over the country do stupid things.  Values have to be taught and taught at a very young age and parents have to keep teaching their children.  Sometimes, it still does not make a difference what parents do and, sadly, some of the kids don't get proper parenting.  Some of them do not have one or, even, both parents and, sometimes, the parents just do not care; therefore, the child does not care.  It all starts in the home.

I'm pretty sure I'd put this right above statutory rape, and right below necrophilia in the morality law-book.  I'm sure its only a misdemeanor, but it's just downright disgusting.

Where would you put in the continuum of sick and illegal acts?

This has gone way beyond taking shots at certain schools like the Florida Gators or anyone else. It's good that this kid was immediately kicked off the team but that is not enough. There needs to be some sort of system that prevents them from transferring even to a Division 3 to play football or any other sport. These kids get second and third and fourth chances all over the place and it translates to the professional leagues. Enough is enough. Ban these kids from collegiate sports after pulling stunts like this.

I am a Florida fan and alum and there is no doubt this individual's actions are despicable.  He is clearly a sketchy person based on his multiple infractions.  However, the person who created this thread has certainly not elevated him/herself by attacking the character of the University of Florida as a whole.  In every sport and at every level, both college and pro, there are disreputable people.  Why not reserve your comments for the individual actor and keep your potshots about a university to yourself?  Or are you just another disgruntled fan who has Gator envy?
