K. Greene to Cubs?

My Brother, unfortunately a die-hard Padres fan, text'd me today that the Pads were looking to Trade Khalil Greene to the Cubs in a deal that would net the Pads outfielder Felix Pie.   

I apologize a Dodgers fan has to keep you guys in the loop, but at least you heard it first from a real man.

When teams start performing really bad, the rumors begin flowing like Niagra Falls. If the Padres traded with the Cubs for Khalil Greene it would have to be for a huge name. Felix Pie? No way.

Your right. Towers may have made some bad moves but that would be the cherry on the cake, he wont trade KG for Pie. Not in a million years.

Has anyone heard anything more about the availability of Griffey or Dunn???

In Ryan Theriot and Ronny Cedeno, the Cubs have 2 SS doing far better at the plate than Khalil Greene.  He is a fine defensive SS, but it is not like the Cubs' SS stink up the joint in that area. 

And, Felix Pie barely has over 200 big league ABs.  Calling him a bust is premature.  Hell, he is even hittin netter than Greene at this point.
