I can't wait to see 3 things this weekend at Darlington.

1. Speeds in excess of 200mph with lots of grip.

2. Tony Stewart and Mark Martin fighting for the win.

3.  JR growing a pair and putting the shrub into the wall.

Now that would be a great weekend of fun wouldn't it race fans.

I can't wait for this race myself. They've been talking about the higher speeds at Darlington awhile now, I can't wait to see it for myself.

I'm not much of a Tony Stewart or Mark Martin fan, so I'm neutral on that one.

As far as Junior putting Kyle Busch into the wall... That won't happen this race. That would be highly unprofessional, and could get Dale a visit to the infamous NASCAR trailer, and punishment as well. If he is going to retaliate, it won't be for a few weeks, if not longer. That's only if Dale really took offense to it and considered it to be intentional... and I'm not sure he feels that way, even if it was.

Personally, I'd like to see Dale end his drought this week, but I doubt that will happen. Would be nice though. I'm still upset that someone told Hamlin to stop on the track to bring out that caution because that was Busch's best chance of beating Dale at the end of the race. Hamlin should've won, but after his tire went down, Dale should've won that race. I'm just glad Busch didn't win, or any other Gibbs car after intentionally bringing out the yellow like that.

#1 and #2 would be great.

#3, I wouldn't hold my breath.  He's far to psychologically beat up from what happened to his dad to race with any kind of abandon.  Honestly, he really should hang 'em up and maybe start a car dealership or something.

Well my Tony Stewart Mark Martin reference Was right on line with 5 laps left in the Nationwide race then Mark couldn't pick up fuel and got punted.  That sucked but crap happens.

Jr is in way too deep with sponsor commitments and having a clean image to get mixed up with Shrub... And like another said he'll wait til Kyle least expects it... Like with Gordon and Kenseth a yr or two back.

 ¥,

Yeah, you said it so it must be true.

Junior must be damaged goods right now. He probably cries every time he finishes a race in the top 5 like he did tonight.

Guess he should hang them up and retire. After all, being 3rd in the points, he has no chance at winning his elusive first championship this season.

Again, you said it so it must be true.

And by the way, he just opened up a bar. One thing at a time.

I missed most of the race due to work, but i was bummed to see Shrub win... That being said it's really sad that Darlington still only has one date. I was bummed to see the Southern 500 date leave and go to Cali. for ticket sale reasons. I don't know why the owners of Darlington aren't working harder to get it back... Thats what I always take from these Darlington races anyhow..

Tauntonian, learn to read, hammerhead.

I said 'race with any kind of abandon'.  You or I could finish in the top 5 with his car and crew.  But #1 will always elude him until he gets his head out of his butt and starts driving like his dad.

¥, I can read, hammerhead.

You said that he should hang them up.

And in your last post you say he needs to get his head out of his butt and start to drive like his dad.

Guess what? He isn't his dad, and he never will be.

He's still a great driver regardless. Get a clue.

"You or I could finish in the top 5 with his car and crew."

Are you really that dumb?
