Mine was December 1979' at the old Sombrero in Tampa, FL. My grandparents lived in Sarasota, FL and had season tickets to the Bucs. The game was practically played in a hurricane. From where we were in the Stdium you saw buig splashes every time somebody hit the ground more than you could see the action, I was a kid so i thought it was really cool. It was just me an d my gramps that went and stuck out the game, he had gotten tickets for the whole family but because of the weather they all stayed behind in Sarasota. It was just me and him and a great time we had together. Two guys behind got in a fight over a couple of dollars, I remember the Chiefs kicker (Jan Stenerud) missing a FG in the end zone we were sitting at, later the Tampa kicker (Odonough I believe) hit a chip shot at the end of the game same goal post and the place went nuts, I was a kid so I kept thanking everybody was going to get an orange cream sicle, really, those old Buc uniforms made you thank that. The red Chief pants made me think of Dolly Madison pastries (I was 9) I was never a fat kid, pretty tall and skinny, just jad a sweet tooth. I guess the irony was my gramps mother was born in Norway and that was Jan's last game as a Chief. Gramps died four years later, it was probably one of the biggest moments in Bucaneer history but the Chiefs gave them a hell of a fight in awful conditions. I was probably more Bucs fan that day but the Chiefs caught my eye.

I sure will (keep my fingers crossed for you) but it makes it hard to type that way lol! I remember the Eddie Rabbit song "Rainy Night" was really popular at that time, I don't remember if they played it at the game but whenever I hear that song it brings that game right back. You can see a few highlights of the game on NFL Films on NFL network. There was a similar game ten years later in Miami between the Fins and Steelers but not nearly as close (Steelers won 34-14).

Actually my very first game was two years ago, when Wes aka K.C.CHIEFS827 was asking any fans on here wanted to go to a Chiefs game for free, but to get the tickets you couldn't have attended any games. So I PM'd gave him my sob story, at first I didn't belive him, but we exchanged number on here, and called we talked for a little bit. I had like a million thoughts going thru my head when we was like you can have free tickets to attended the game with him, I though he was going to drug me and do some gay gangbang crap, or a racist trying to get even...So I showed up, and sure enough I see Wes honking his Chiefs horn. LOL...Since I got inside his car we was drinking non-stop...Tailgating...drinking....Watching the game...drinking....after the game...drinking....O yeah, it was 12/31/06 game vs. Jaguars that sent us to the playoffs!!

mine was november 1978 we were playing the nasty Oakland Raiders. I was with my flag football league and we all got are names on the scoreboard it was so great the Chiefs lost as usuall back then but 12 years later it looked like we were headed to the big prize but it never materilized and we are all these years later in a rebuilding time again and can't wait much longer for you who were true chiefs fans in the 70's and the 80's you know what im talking about you had to listen to about 9 games a year on the radio and we always believed our beloved chiefs would win again but then the 90's came and we and the bandwagon chief fans really believed we were going to win it all but here we are in 2008 starting over again but this time is for real you know what im talking about if your a true fan GO CHIEF'S

I have only been to two Chiefs games, and oddly enough, they were both at Arrowhead against the Saints. The first was a regular season game maybe 10 years ago. It was December, it was cold, and it was rainy... but I do remember Tamarick Vanover returning a punt for a touchdown. I was around 10-12 years old, (I'm 21 now) and with the weather that's pretty much the only part of the game that really sticks out in my memory. The second was the last preseason game of 2006, the girl I was seeing at the time got ahold of some tickets and asked if I wanted to go with her. Those seats were alot better... lower level in the corner of the (I think) North endzone...

My first Chiefs game was a great one. November 4, 1990 it was cold and sleet/rain coming down the whole time. I had just turned 10 years old not long before. I am a Type 1 diabetic, I have been since I was two years old. At that time, the Chiefs had Jonathan Hayes playing TE, he was also a diabetic. I went to a kids diabetes summer camp and every kid that attended the camp that summer got two tickets to go to a Chiefs game. My dad has always been a diehard Chiefs fan, much like I am today. We met up with several other kids and their parents for the camp at the old Price Chopper Combo on Noland Rd. and I-70 and all went to the game. We had seats in the end zone and all of us stayed the entire game. It was sooooooo damn cold and the precipitation did not stop the whole game. There was not a chance that we were going to leave early. The game was definitely not a barn burner as the Chiefs ended up winning(like they always did against Oakland in the Marty days) the game 9-7 on three Nick Lowry field goals.
I have been to many many Chiefs games since then, but that is one of my most fond Arrowhead memories. Much more fond that the NO punts allowed playoff game when the Colts knocked us out!

1977, Mid September, Foxboro, against the Patriots, drove my 1965 Falcon Sprint (my first car) down there early, bought good tickets right at the gate, Patriots and Chiefs sucked back then. Watched Mike Livingston and Ed Podolak lose to Steve Grogan and Sam "Bam" Cunningham.
Go Chiefs
