So, it's bad to watch a basketball game but it's not bad to waste gasoline? Decisions like this are why gas prices get so high.

not to mention,

how can you feel okay about receiving updates? either step away from the game to spend time with your six wives or do not. getting updates is the equivalent of hiring someone to do your dirty work. you are still responsible. besides, don't really think that a professional team owner should be so religious, especially if the religion is founded by a hustler in utah!

So we should applaud his ability to be uncompromising when it comes to religion and practical matters?

He's got no business owning a sports team if it conflicts with his religion. This isn't the first time an NBA team has played on a Sunday. Absolutely retarded to go for long three and half hour drive just to avoid the game for religious sake. Not only that he's compromised  just enough to allow his wife update him why driving. I just hope he has a hands-free phone in that gas-guzzling car/truck he owns. You just know he doesn't own a Toyota Prius or Tesla Roadster.

Wow petewonder, I really thought we were all past the polygamy thing, and for you to bring it up in the way that you did just shows how hard-headed and immature you truly are. C'mon people, let him live his life in the way he desires.

My gods enjoy basketball on any day of the week. They would strike me down for making my woman play the hands of devils, demons, or usurping culturally inappropriate mascots.

The man won't waste gasoline, because he is to cheap, and he will either go down to the ESA and watch the game from the portal hidden beneath the stands, or definitely watch it at home.

Seriously give the guy a break.  He's just trying to live his religion.  Maybe the world would be a better place if more people tried living their religion.  Seriously, and the polygamy thing just shows your arrogance, learn something about the culture before you open your mouth.

I can't believe that this issue is even being discussed here on these message boards.
It's no one else's business what this guy does in his free time. I'm sure that he's a pretty intelligent guy given the wealth that he has, much wiser than most people posting here, myself included to be honest. Let him do what he wants to do; at least he's not wasting gas making numerous beer runs during the games.

Besides, he's probably pretty depressed given that they have little chance of beating the Lakers 4 out of the next 5 games.

Go Lakers!!!

It's not about me giving him a break...It's about the inconsistency of his actions. What kind of religion doesn't preach good stewardship? The point is the inconsistency, not what the practices of his religion are.
