Unfortunately, professional sports is a "what have you done for me lately" kind of enterprise. Fact is, the Cowboys could have not even been in the league for the past decade and it wouldn't have mattered. Well, unless one of the teams that replaced them in the playoffs actually won a game.
My point exactly! I was hoping to reel one you idiots in. It makes as much sense to bring up the 5 rings as it does for you morons to bring up the lack of post season productivity.

Actually espndude my whole post was right. I'll paste it here and tell me exactly what was wrong.
You can do all this in the 40 seconds you get to call a play? You are truly a magician because all 30 teams in the league can't do it but you can? LOL. ok.
ESPNdude. 1st off you shouldn't be trying to showcase your NFL knowledge when you don't even know how many teams in the league. FYI there are 32 teams in the NFL not 30. Secondly, they obviously are/were gaining what BB would percieve to get an advantage from these tapes or he would'nt have risked getting caught and punished in the first place. Nor would he have wasted so much time in a fruitless act.
There are 32 teams not 30, so that was correct. BB did think he was gaining and advantage or he wouldn't waste his time, again another correct staement. Paragraph 1 was 2-2.
The Patriots are not vindicated they were proved to be just what they were punished for. They cheated end of story, I can't wait until Walsh finally meets with Goodell and we can all finally move on from this whole thing. They got punished pretty severely and I think all in all it was a fair punishment.
vindicated adj : freed from any question of guilt; "is absolved from all blame. That is the definition of vindicated, so No the Patriots are not vindicated, so that statement would be correct also. They did cheat, that is unquestionable, that statement would be correct. The other point would be that I agreed with you they got punished enough for their acts. Paragraph 2 was 3-3 in correct statements.
You all can forget about apolagies though. Why would someone apologize to you for? They called your team cheaters and your team admitted to being cheaters, what's wrong with that? In many peoples eyes the Patriots achievements under BB will always be tainted.
You can bet that all these statements were correct. Noone is going to apologize for calling a cheater a cheater. Thats like telling Peyton Manning your sorry for calling him a QB. In many peoples eyes that arent Patriots fans they will considered there achievements tainted...Not saying I'm one of them, I couldn't care less to be honest.

Yeah Patriot haters. Apologize for accusing them of things other then their 8 years of illegal taping of signals.
how do you know that all of the tapes were illegal? All i've heard of was the one from the Jets last season. Thats the only tape the league said they broke the rule on. Just to make this absolutely clear, you are allowed to tape as long as you did it from an NFL approved area. Yes the Patriots turned over their tapes, and they could have signals on them,but as long as there within the rules its legal.
Greenbay and Giants Stadium are two stadiums that do not have these areas for visiting teams. If they did, then the Patriots would've taped from there and this would be a non-issue.

Your point was that the Cowboys suck? Hell, you could have just said that up front instead of trying to "reel me in". I would have agreed and saved us both the trouble of a second post.
If you think 13-3 is a team that sucks, then you need to be in a round padded room with a helmet on! I cant explain the lack of effort in the playoffs, but they certainly do not suck. I was simply stating that it is pointless to bring up any teams effort the past decade. If you bring up the fact that the Cowboys havent won a playoff game in over 10 years, then it makes just as much sense to bring up the superbowl wins.
Oh, and only the Giants did well this year. All of the other teams failed. Even your beloved Pats.

So how did the Patriots win 17 games after the whole Jets thing if they were not cheating? Obviously they didnt do anything illegal from games 2-superbowl. So how did they win those 17 games? They must be terrible. Tell me who else won 17 games last season please. I wont even count the Jets game and say I'll say 17.
