The US public should not stand for the Pats to get a slap on the wrist.....especially now that we have evidence that they did it more than one game I can tell you are really educated on this subject. > end sarcasm< The Pats had already admitted to taping more than just 1 game, and had informed the league of their practice of taping. As the statement by the league said, this is nothing new, and nothing they weren't already aware of.
There were 5 teams(6 games) on those tapes and the Pats record in those games was 3-3, including losses to lowly Miami and Buffalo. Yep, must have been a HUGE advantage gained by taping!

How did this nation produce so many morons? Man, the hate runs deep, far worse than I imagined. There hasn't been a dynasty since the pre-Interet era, so you Cowboys and 9er and Steeler fans were lucky.
All I can say to the haters is: get used to Belichick and the Brady bunch. They have at LEAST 2 more Lombardi's in them, including next season. That will make 5 within 10 years, easily the greatest dynasty of ALL TIME.

Wow! Only in Boston does rationale like this actually work. "We cheated for 5 years, but not as bad as Matt Walsh said, so everyone should apologize to us Pats fans for callin' our team cheaters". All I have to say is any Pats fan that thinks they deserve an apology is a bona fide, drooling idiot! Here's a thought Pats fans, why don't you go into the forum of every teams you guys taped and apologize to those fans for cheating and not having any honor?? There's a novel concept. You Pats fans have no class and your team doesn't either, you should accept this instead of trying to put it on everyone else. If your team didn't cheat, then no one would call them cheaters! Hmmm... Didn't one of those video tapes he released have the Steelers' playcalls during the 2002 AFC Championship? Is no one paying attention to that tape? C'mon, people! I'm very surprised that Steeler fans from across the nation haven't marched on Washington... or Boston... yet. Perhaps Steeler fans just don't care and are content with the fact the Pats embarrassed them IN THEIR OWN STADIUM that year. Not to mention beating them with an old fart QB who had nothing but a lackluster career.
Actually, I'm surprised those tapes have lasted this long. The Rams walk through tape was probably taped over (and was probably there but buried by another taping). The Patriots organization has said numerous times they recorded over their tapes from the previous seasons!
I'm not bashing the Patriots, I would just love to see my hard earned money I spend to see these games not go to waste! Who out there wants to pay to see a game then come to find out the other team cheated to win? Yeah, now that we bring our OWN money into the conversation, this wh | |
