Yes, Izzy blew it - but Pujols should have caught that foul ball.  When we get healthy, I still like Piniero as the closer.  I think he has the cojones.

piniero are you kidding me. his last outing was horrible but i do like piniero as a starter he is probaly our #2 or #3, and with or lack of starting pitch there is no way you can move him. 

i understand about wain he is one of my favorite players and if we had starters he would be the closer in my opinion, but we dont have that option with him or any other starter at this particular time.  if the closer did come from the starting rotation i would say wellemeyer, because in short innings he can toss 96 or 97 mph the only problem with him might be walks and he too has cojones.

we might be 22-13 but we need to fix alot of problems
