Did anyone else inadvertantly cheer when Chauncy went down tonight?  Maybe I am the only bastard here....

Dear Mary, full of grace.....

I laughed, but I would've enjoyed it more if it was Wallace or Hamilton. Take off the stupid mask! You don't need it! Sorry...just another one of my anti-UConn rants....

I am with you M. It didn't look bad so I let out a little bit of a cheer and a second will follow if he is out for the rest of the series.

I normally don't go on the opposing teams websites but heard that there was talk about how some Magic fans were actually cheering when Chauncey got hurt.  I doubt that many Piston fans would cheer if Dwight Howard was injured and realize that all Magic fans don't lack class like the ones who were cheering or thought it was funny.  Cheering an injury to me is one of the most worst things a fan can do.  I'd rather see players get heckled as that is part of the game but to cheer an injury is a low blow.  I guess I can understand how some fans who lack maturity would cheer as I'm sure they are tired of seeing Jameer Nelson get abused by Chauncey on a regular basis.  It really doesn't matter because Detroit will win this series with or without Chauncey, but chances are good that he'll be back as early as game 4.

Chances aren't good that Chauncey comes back on Saturday. He's still unsure. We're going to go back to Detroit  tied at 2.

GO Magic!!!!!!

I have loads of class, so much class it is ridiculous...

With that said, I not only cheered but am hoping that Chauncey Billups stays out for the rest of the series. Like someone said earlier, it isn't career threatening so quit whining LeBron...of course no one would cheer or hope for a serious injury (unless you absolutley hate them i.e. how the Redsox/Yankees hate eachother), but this is the playoffs and winning is all that matters...

Don't worry, Billups will be back next year all recovered from his minor injury. However, he will still be feeling BLUE (Magic blue of course) about letting his team down in this series...without him, they are done

I can't say I was sad when Billups went down, but I would rather the Magic beat the Pistons at full strength.  The playoffs have been great so far and last night it was great to watch Parker and Paul go back and forth.  If Billups is gone for the series it is a shame we won't be able to see one of the premier guards in the league.  I think he will come back but won't be close 100%.  He is going to have to deal with this injury for the rest of the playoffs.

But if he doesn't return this series I will be pretty happy to not have to here the Detroit PA announcer say Chauncey BabababBBBillups :)  But seriously I hope Chauncey is feeling good enough to play Saturday because this is going to be a pretty good series.

like a said there was a fist pump but i wasn't saying yay hope his career is over...and stop lying about not being happy if Dwight Howard got hurt...you fans know you would be happy because it would pretty much kill our chances of winning...again like i daid if he would have blown out a knee or something i would have been a little sad...i always feel bad when players get hurt and can't play anymore

I'm not cheering for a major injury. In fact, I was not cheering at all. I got a little excited nowing that the other team's best player and our kryptonite was down and may not return. No fan can seriously say they would not get a little juiced. I'm glad it's not really anything serious, but just a small injury that may keep him out for the series. If the Pistons do win the series, I'd love for Chauncey to come back and dominate the over-blow piece of sh*t that is boston.
