Carlos "The Cycle" Gomez

ski u mah i have to disagree with you.  Quintin is a decent fielding left fielder that was a a tuff play.  It was going to be a hit if he would have held up he it would have been a single, but you have to have some luck whne getting a cycle.  The Single was a single it was hit hard off the pitchers glove, Gomez was flying down the line and it was i very hard play for even the best of shortstops. 

The thing is i dont think this is Gomez last cycle, he has power and a hit in the gap can be a triple any time.

First off, I love nicknames, but I also do not want to choose one hastily. "The Cycle" definitely has potential and I am by no means ruling it out, but I think we must wait a little longer.

Second, this guy is so fun to watch. He' s got that little kid competitiveness where he always tries hard, runs hard, and shows his jubilation after making a good play. He has made plenty of rookie mistakes this year but I love the guy and can't wait to see what he'll be doing in a couple of years for our team.

Last, I would like to give him props for his defense as well. Naturally, his speed is his most valuable attribute and it definitely helps him cover all that ground in center, but he looks like a very solid outfielder. It is hard to follow what Torii did in that position, but Gomez is doing his best.
