LSU lost it's top recruit with Morgan asking for a release.  He will likely attend UCLA.  Happy trails J'Mison.  I'd rather we sign kids who want to work hard and turn LSU into a winning team than a kid who just wants to jump on with a team who has been going to the final four every year.

As a Bruin fan I am happy to hear we are getting a big man, but I feel your pain. Plus, if this kid is as good as advertized, he'll be a one and done like most  top Freshmen(Love,Rose, Bayless and Beasley to name a few). The problem with the one year wonders is that a school might lose a top prospect who would stay for 2 or 3 or 4 years because they don't want to sit.  Such is the new way in the NBA. remember when freshmen were NOT even allowed to play?

Now we have lost the assistant coach as well. The mens lsu basketball program is turning into a soap opera if you ask me. I hope the new coach will try and get a true point guard for the next upcoming class.

ya things like this really kill our team losing Morgan is huge, it's little things like losing recruits that can have a bad effect on the team next year it also hurts that freshman players like Randolph and Tyrus Thomas leaving for the draft instead of maybe waiting at least one more year

all we need is someone who wants to put in 3 or 4 good years and work hard...then the rest will fall into place eventually
