Losing to the Magic in 5 games, well there's always next year. But today, well this is just heartbreaking.

In case you haven't already heard, Chuck Swirsky said today he will be leaving the Raptors organization and head back to Chicago, where he will become the radio play by play broadcastor for the Bulls. He said it is due to personal and family related reasons, and it is nothing against the City of Toronto, Canada, or the Raps organization.

So long Chuck and good luck in Chicago. Salami and Cheese for life!

It always sucks when a good announcer leaves. I personally don't like any of the Nuggets announcers, tv or radio, Scott Hastings' unabashed homerism and his stupid turkey neck drive me crazy.

I left out the fragment "At least you had a good announcer,"

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it has something to do with having the "cajones" to not only take, but hit a big money shot. But since he can't say that on TV (or the other word that is more commonly used), he changed it to "onions".

Again that is something I heard from a friend of a friend of a friend a long time ago, so it could be completly wrong.

Im pretty sure Leo started the onions deal, and yeah Andrews right, hes referring to the stones a player has to make a big shot. And yes, this is the saddest day in Raptors history, Ill never forget how worked up Chuck used to get after an amazing Vince Carter dunk, no one hyped up a VC dunk the way he did. Does anyone remember the announcer before Swirsky, I just remember dozing off while he just mentioned stat after stat. Hopefully they get E Smith to do the games, I havent heard him in a while but I remember he was decent.

I'm out
