I agree 100%!!  Everyone wants to crucify Busch for this wreck.  After watching the replay a few times, Junior didn't hold his line, he dropped down, they touched, and Junior got the bad end of the deal.  I don't understand why a lot of people seem to think that Junior should be untouchable.  If it had been any of the other drivers in the field, we wouldn't still be talking about this.

He clear drove too hard into turn 3

Drove too hard?  That's racing.

What are you talking about?  There is nothing at all wrong with changing your line or driving to the bottom of the track in the corner, not as long as you don't drive your opponent off the track.  It's actually the smart thing to do and it's what good drivers do.  On these type of tracks you pin somebody down, legally, and keep them from getting the momentum they need to pass you.   He pinned Bush low but didn't hit him or cut him off.  Even Bush himself said "I could have gone a little lower in the corner if I had wanted" so he obviously wasn't pushed below the line.  That's smart racing, just like Bush, if he had been ahead, could have held a little higher line to keep JR from coming down and, in so doing, bleed his speed and keep him from passing.  Granted, I know Bush did not mean to wreck JR, but he did, because he overdrove the corner and got loose, by his own admission.  Bush caused the contact, not JR.  You don't know squat obviously, and I don't think you know better than Bush himself who admitted all this stuff.

Driving too hard is not maintaining control of your car.  If Jr had not been on the outside to catch him, he would have spun out.  That's driving too hard.

And by the way...

Jr is not his father, doesn't want to be.  All of you that are trying to compare him to Big E, stop.  There was not a bigger fan of Dale Earnhardt than me.  Jr has spoken many times of "wanting to be his own man".  He is doing it his way.  Quit trying to make him into his father people!

No, driving HARD is racing.  Driving TOO HARD is wrecking.  Big difference!!!

You are 100% correct.

Busch drove in too hard, rear tires stepped out, and he wrecked Jr.  Anyone who looks at the footage and doesn't see it that way is jaded by their favorite driver.

If it had been Gordon on the outside and Stewart on the inside it would still be the same.  The car on the bottom slid into the car on the outside and the car on the outside crashed.........

KB needs to respect the people he races with more, be it Stephen Wallace, Jeff Gordon, or Dale Earnhardt Jr.  His brother had to learn that, and he needs to also.

Short track racing, last few turns of the race, two cars nose to tail, you run the bottom of the track or you lose.  Dale Sr. running second would have put his mother in the wall in the same situation.  Quit crying Jr. fans.
